Portfolio Updated
These last six months have been very productive. I have worked on many projects and learned quite a bit. With every project I complete, I am able to make my scene more realistic than the last. I work very hard on my scenes and I’m proud of them. My Portfolio is now filled with my most current work.
Semester Reflection
This semester has been a learning experience for me; More personal learning than anything. Before this semester I was a decent modeler, but with a combination of this class and my internship at Catalina games, I became a superior modeler.
Sewer – Complete
Lighting and texturing is finished. I’m just tweaking the lights as I see the change. I’ve been working on the water effects in the Sewer. I have the main water down and mostly the water spout and leaking pipes. I animated a few scurrying rats and cockroaches. I feel they will really add to the scene. Here is the render of my Sewer:
New Spray Paint Art
Many new paintings have been completed. Because of the holiday season, many custom orders have been coming in. I’ve had a Las Vegas Strip at nighttime with the moon shining down custom order. A Galaxy with orbiting planets and a few more. Here is a variety of paintings I’ve recently done:
Sewer – Texture Complete
Texturing is finished and slightly behind by a few days but I’m still on schedule. I’m going to start lighting and if there’s still time, particle effects with the water. So far the concept art I had in my mind before I started, looks exactly like what I currently have now. I’m quite proud of my environmental modeling skills. Here is a render of where my progress stands:

Last time I was unable to paint because my caps were clogged and no solvent I used cleaned them. I soaked them in paint thinner for a week and that did nothing. I then soaked them for a few months and they were mostly clean. When I used them, they blew up. All of the caps exploded.
Sewer – Modeling
My next project is The Sewer. The modeling for this project is mostly finished. There are a few things I want to tweak before finalizing it, but it’s mostly finished. I want to spend a little more time on the water and particle effects. I want to try to get running running throughout the main pipes as well as dripping water from the ceiling. Texturing should be easy and fast, so I’ll have more time to work on the special effects. Here is a…
Instrumental: Acceptance + Empire Courtyard Compilation
This is a two piece compilation. The first half is called, Acceptance. It starts off with the power and might of the higher authority dictatorship. The piece then shows the decay of society and depression from what has happened. Everyone lives their lives in fear and obeys whatever the dictatorship says. The second half, Empire Courtyard, is the main capitol of this dictatorship. It sounds huge and empty because most of society lives in the slums while the VERY few live in the Empire…
