Recently I got into woodworking. Being a musician, Of course I was going to build musical instruments. After a few weeks of building and finishing the surface, the instrument was done. I call it the Z1. (Not sure what else to call it). But how does it sound? Good question. I wrote a song called the Z1 instrument featuring this instrument as the main melody. The Next Level
Sound tools are becoming increasingly available each year and keep taking this to the next level. Music practically writes itself when a heavy modulator destroys the original soundbite. Each song I write wants to branch off into drastically different versions. Sometimes it becomes difficult to decide what the music should breath; As if it was alive and constantly mutating. What inspired this music moment was exploring new time signatures.
