5 Minutes to Midnight – Update 2
All of the modeling is finished. Just about all of the textures are done as well except for a few miscellaneous objects. I have a few displacement textures I want to update. Here is a render of the modeling so far.
Dark King’s Castle
It’s been while since I’ve released a composition and for good reason too. I’ve been researching how to equalize and master each track to bring out the best of each instruments voice and character. The Dark King’s Castle is about this fortress covered in cob webs and built fully out of stone. You can hear a ghostly evil pipe organ echoing off the walls coming from deep within the dark pits of the castle. As the song progresses, you navigate through the different rooms…
First Black & White Paintings
This is my first time creating Black and White paintings. It’s harder than you think because your painting with ONE color, black. I need to figure the negative space and paint black around it. The hardest part is once you add the black paint, you can’t take it away. So you must have a clear plan and a steady hand.
Simple Cities at Night
Here are two city paintings. One represents the warm twinkling lights of a city skyline. The other represents the purple glow emitting from a city that never sleeps.
90’s Project
This class project on music was about bringing back the 90’s and showing where society is today. There were some great melodies. Maybe not so much on the lyrics but the music was good. I’ve decided to make some arranged versions of some of the most catchy tunes. I’ve noticed that I’m not the only one sneaking in old progressions. I can safely assume that everyone is trying to preserve the classics, keeping them fresh. Whether it was done justice, is another story.
Twilight Harbor Paintings
I had a customer that wanted one of my cites in Purple, Red, Yellow, and Orange. The painting was so popular that I had another person request the same painting.
